Student Organizations Shine at Royal Flame AWards

Royal Flame Awards 2016
Every year, registered student organizations have the opportunity to be recognized for their contributions to the campus community through the annual Royal Flame Awards ceremony. This spring, a number of organizations received awards acknowledging their creative programming and innovative ideas. PantherHackers, a new student organization, received the award for Outstanding Small-Scale Campus Program, for their Hack-a-thon event, which emphasized innovative solutions to societal problems. The Greatest Minds Society received the award for Outstanding Large-Scale Campus Program for their Symposium on Race, Urban Culture and Campus Diversity, which brought together groups across campus to discuss these pressing issues.
