Fortune Onwuzuruike Receives Trotter Award

The spring 2017 recipient of the Nell Hamilton Trotter Award is Fortune Onwuzuruike, a health informatics major from Marietta, Georgia. His time at Georgia State University has been marked by a commitment to leadership and service. He began his collegiate journey by participating in the Summer Success Academy for first-year students during the summer of 2013 and wasted no time getting involved as the vice-president of the Hall Council. During his first-year, he continued to serve in the role of president of Piedmont North Hall Council and as a Student Government Association freshman volunteer.
