Student Leadership Series
The Student Leadership Series is designed to expose students to leadership on an individual, group and societal level. The foundation of the series is the Social Change Model of Leadership Development developed by a group of educators through the Higher Education Research Institute. Participation in the Student Leadership Series is open to all students based on interest, but prior registration is required. This spring, we are excited to introduce a new series, the Leaders in Training Program.
The Leaders in Training Program is a ten week leadership program for students interested in becoming effective leaders. Through this series, we will explore your personal leadership identity and think critically about the changes you want to make in your communities, all while creating relationships with your peers. Grounded in the Social Change Model of Leadership Development, the program will help you better understand leadership and how you can create change. The Leaders in Training Program is open to all Georgia State students and prior registration is required. Space is limited, so students must be willing to commit to the entire ten week experience.
