The Natural Leader

The Natural Leader

This is the program for students who are looking to build their leadership skills but are not interested in a traditional workshop. This program offers the opportunity for students to learn about leadership skills while exploring the great outdoors. In the past, Leadership Development has gone zip lining and talked about managing risks, steered dragon boats and discussed teamwork, and gone caving and conversed about dealing with pressure.

The fall event, Teamwork: Whitewater Rafting Adventure, is scheduled for Saturday, October 1. Participants will learn basic principles of team building and put those principles into practice on a whitewater rafting trip down the Chattahoochee River. There is a $25 program fee for this trip that includes whitewater rafting ticket, transportation from Georgia State University campus and lunch. Participants must have basic swimming skills and be comfortable in water. Registration is available online until all spaces are filled.
