TEDx Salon Talks Refugees and Immigration

On March 27, 2019, Leadership Programs hosted its second sold-out TEDx Salon on the immigration and refugee crisis. This TEDx Salon focused on giving students the opportunity to take a deep dive into the topic and explore competing ideas related to the issue at hand. This timely event focused on current headlines and controversies like border patrol, family separation, DACA and more.

The event opened with Duarte Geraldino’s Tedx talk, What We’re Missing in the Debate About Immigration, highlighting the social circles that immigrants are part of.
